Dreamtime:

Christine is a well-established Aboriginal Artist. M&S Textiles Australia printed some of her works in the past. ‘Women Collecting Water’ is one of her best artworks. Her depiction of waterholes, women sitting with digging sticks, bush foods, flowers, etc. are detailed and decorative.

Water is very precious in Northern Territory. Aboriginal people know how to get water from underground. Also they watch wild bird’s movements in some areas to locate the availability of water nearby. However, Alice Spring can experience heavy rainfall in summer months. Just after the rain you can witness abundant of beautiful flower blossom almost everywhere in various colours. The beautiful array of colours is a memorable experience. Christine depicted the natural scenic view very well with women sitting on the ground with digging sticks seeking water all around.

Nana's Weighted Blankets - Blanket Product Guide

How to look after your Weighted Blanket

1. Use a Gentle Cycle: Your weighted blanket can be machine washed, it's important to select a gentle cycle on your washing machine. This will help to minimize the stress on the blanket's fabric, prevent excessive wear and tear, and maintain its overall quality.

2. Use Mild Detergent: When washing your weighted blanket, opt for a mild detergent that is free from harsh chemicals or additives. Harsh detergents can potentially damage the fabric or affect the weighted fill inside the blanket. Choose a detergent that is suitable for delicate fabrics and sensitive skin.

3. Properly Dry the Blanket: After machine washing, it's essential to properly dry your weighted blanket. Avoid using dryer as this can damage the fabric, weighted fill and the machine. Instead, we recommend air drying the blanket by hanging the blanket outside on a clothesline or a well ventalated area.

It's important to follow these machine washing tips to maintain the quality and longevity of your weighted blanket. By being cautious and using the right techniques, you can ensure that your blanket stays clean and fresh without compromising its performance.
