Can you increase the weight in the toy?

We’re often asked if we can increase the weight in our weighted toys, but unfortunately, this isn’t possible. We can only decrease the weight, as each toy is carefully tested with a set size and structure, which limits how much weight it can safely hold. If we were to add more pellets than the toy is designed for, two things could happen:

1. The toy may not physically fit more weight – there’s only so much space inside the fabric once the toy is correctly filled and stitched.
2. The seams or stitching could be put under too much pressure – which means the toy could break, spill pellets, or lose its shape.

We want every toy to be strong, safe, and long-lasting, so we make sure the weight is balanced to suit its size. This way, you still get the calming and soothing benefits of a weighted toy without risking damage or safety issues.

If you’re looking for extra weight, we often recommend pairing a toy with one of our lap blankets or larger products. This can give you that deeper pressure feeling while keeping the toy comfortable and safe to use.
