The idea of weighted toys was suggested to us by a noted Psychologist who found some children in his rooms were more settled when they had a weighted toy on their lap.

We have put together a few toys that have had the stuffing taken out of their bodies, then a lining placed inside with polypellets. They are also double stitched for extra strength. This is done so if a tear should happen in the seams, the pellets will not come out. They are quiet heavy but feel great, in fact the whole squishy feeling is a pleasure in itself.

We are often told how children have 'taken' to a beany baby type toy, as they like the weight and sensation of squishy, our toys are exactly like that but bigger.

Some of our competitors toys are not lined, if a seam splits, you have filling everywhere, some of the fillings are a worry, rocks, sand, rice, wheat and often they are imported from other countries, where health and safety standards are not so high.
